From 3742c2dba83ea4df7252ba2c46815bb093a02136 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: AutomatedTester Date: Wed, 15 Jul 2026 14:01:04 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] [build] Upgrade @llvm to 0.8.10 Bumps the hermetic @llvm toolchain from 0.8.9 to 0.8.10, picking up recent linker/toolchain fixes (dSYM strip via rules_cc env, per-version COFF ThinLTO patch split, 3-stage FDO bootstrap). 0.8.10 rather than the latest 0.8.11: 0.8.11's macOS sysroot changes (passing a relative -isysroot alongside --sysroot) break the hermetic macOS C build of the bzip2-sys crate ("'stdlib.h' file not found"). 0.8.10 is the latest version that builds cleanly. Trunk pins @llvm as a plain bazel_dep with no patch/override, so this is a straight version bump.
