🟡 Minor · Unwrap informer tombstones before resetting the TLS configuration. · syncer.go:202-215
pkg/lib/apiserver/syncer.go:202-215
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winUnwrap informer tombstones before resetting the TLS configuration.
RegisterEventHandlerspasses APIServer informer deletions toHandleAPIServerDelete. The informer can pass acache.DeletedFinalStateUnknowntombstone. The current type assertion rejects that tombstone and returns beforeGetSecurityProfileConfig(nil). Later API-server TLS queries can retain the deleted profile'sCurvePreferencesinstead of using the Intermediate defaults.Suggested fix

🟡 Minor · Load the cluster TLS profile when any serving field is unset. · server.go:225-235
pkg/package-server/server/server.go:225-235
🔒 Security & Privacy | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winLoad the cluster TLS profile when any serving field is unset.
When
MinTLSVersionis set butCurvePreferencesis empty, the current gate skipsapplyClusterTLSProfile. The server then keeps an empty curve list, so Kubernetes uses Go's default curves instead of the cluster profile.Suggested fix

olmapiserver.GetSecurityProfileConfig() is called by_applyClusterTLSProfileWithClients()_ which in turn is called only via applyClusterTLSProfile().
applyClusterTLSProfile() is guarded by if o.SecureServing.MinTLSVersion == "": so when --tls-min-version is set, packageserver never fetches the APIServer profile and leaves CurvePreferences empty, using Go’s default groups instead of the cluster allowlist.
This issue (getting olmapiserver.GetSecurityProfileConfig() in the call stack only when --tls-min-version is not set) predates this PR and could be addressed in a separate PR (if worth it).
