[Epic] AI Sandbox: Pure Functions #596

Overview

TDD-friendly pure functions with no side effects. These are the core of the validation and transformation system.

Tasks

• Task 2: Auth method application (apply-auth.ts)
• Task 3: Tool validation (is-tool-allowed.ts)
• Task 4: Request building (build-request.ts)
• Task 5: Output transformation (transform-output.ts)
• Task 6: Rate limit calculation (calculate-limit.ts)
• Task 7: Visibility checks (visibility.ts)

Implementation Details

All functions are pure (no side effects) and fully unit tested.

Acceptance Criteria

• All pure functions implemented with tests
• 100% test coverage on pure functions
• No side effects in any function
