Add z-index to welcome content overlay in chat layout - #304
Conversation
…oating input The welcome content in ChatLayout was rendering behind the floating input because it had no z-index (defaulting to 0/auto) while InputPositioner had z-10. Added z-20 to the welcome content container so it displays above the input when centered. https://claude.ai/code/session_01QH4NaPNyrPtmDQp61FQGVk

Summary
Added
z-20utility class to the welcome content overlay in the ChatLayout component to ensure proper stacking context and prevent the overlay from being hidden behind other elements.Changes
z-20class to the welcome content container's className in ChatLayout.tsxDetails
The welcome content is displayed in an absolutely positioned container with
pointer-events-none. By adding thez-20utility class, we explicitly set its stacking order to prevent it from being obscured by other components that may have higher default z-index values. This is a common pattern for overlay/modal-like content that should always be visible when rendered.https://claude.ai/code/session_01QH4NaPNyrPtmDQp61FQGVk
