Like:
select * from animaltype where races contains (name.toLowerCase().subString(0,1) = 'e')It is similar to IN operator.

I might dont get the picture here - but looks to mee like the example is trying to assign 'e' to a string
anyway. Might not be important that I dont get the example. The CONTAINS looks useful and is well described here

Bumping issue. I find myself needing this too.
