Wren AI Launcher: start containers based on user's arch #1239
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, we start containers using amd arch, but for apple silicon env, we should change to arm arch images.
Describe the solution you'd like
For apple silicon env, we should change to arm arch images.
I’d like to work on this issue. I’ll update the Wren AI launcher to detect the host architecture and select the appropriate AMD64 or ARM64 container images, while keeping the existing configuration behavior unchanged. I’ll verify the Docker startup path on the supported architectures before opening a PR.
@jiaozhiqqqm, this issue is in the legacy Gen BI app, which is no longer supported. To avoid more confusion, I'll close this issue. If you still want to dig into the issue, you can check out the legacy/v1 branch, which is the legacy codebase.
Sorry for the confusion. For more details, you can check #2205 (reply in thread)

Note: enabling rosetta on Docker Desktop will cause performance degradation.
