The download page inferred working automatic installation solely from a published appcast. A signed feed proves availability, but the actual Sparkle download/install/relaunch path remains unqualified in #253. State that limitation on both shared download surfaces and document manual updating in the README.
Reconcile the retained-work README with verified issue state: #252, #272, #273 and #276 are resolved. Published 1.13.9 passes the real Codex-backed QA reproduction and persisted-result check. Keep the installed Sparkle verification gap explicit and remove the obsolete OpenSpec task-status pointer.
Validation: full landing/docs build passes, and generated download HTML/Markdown contain the corrected guidance and current 1.13.9 asset names. Lint, documentation and whitespace checks pass. This changes documentation only; it does not qualify in-app updater behavior.
