💡 What: process_ignore_file 함수 내 파일 필터링 루프에서 문자열을 소문자로 변환하기 전, 단순 boolean 검사(isHiddenFile(), endsWith("~"))를 먼저 수행하여 조기 종료(Short-circuit)하도록 조건을 재배열했습니다.
🎯 Why: 기존 코드는 파일 확장자나 이름을 검사하기 위해 모든 파일에 대해 무조건 toLowerCase()를 호출하여 새로운 문자열을 할당했습니다. 숨김 파일이나 백업 파일(~)과 같이 간단한 규칙으로 제외되는 항목들도 불필요하게 가비지를 생성하여 디렉토리 크롤러에 부담을 주었습니다.
📊 Impact: 제외되는 숨김/백업 파일당 불필요한 String 객체 할당을 완전히 제거하여 가비지 컬렉터(GC)의 압력을 줄이고 메모리 사용량을 감소시킵니다.
🔬 Measurement: 수만 개의 숨김 파일이 포함된 대규모 디렉토리에서 프로파일러(VisualVM 등)를 실행하면, String.toLowerCase()에 의한 객체 할당 횟수 및 힙 메모리 스파이크가 눈에 띄게 감소함을 확인할 수 있습니다.
