/design seed from the 2026-09-10 repository review (R10). Ruling 2026-09-15: becomes an epic.

Problem. admin-ui/app/(authed)/_components/nav-items.ts renders 18 flat entries on desktop. Live operations, programming, library maintenance, appearance and diagnostics get equal weight. "Editor" does not say what it edits; "Wardrobe" and "Gardener" need the product metaphor explained. Each feature has added a nav item.

Proposed shape (for /design, not decided). Task-based groups, starting proposal: On Air (dashboard, live, booth log), Programming (schedule, shows, DJs, announcements, ads, sponsors), Library (media, gardener, packs), Appearance (themes, wardrobe, avatars), System (settings, health, about). Same grouping on mobile. Existing routes keep working or redirect.

Acceptance (epic-level).

• Five representative tasks have an agreed path: send an announcement, assign a show/DJ, fix an unavailable track, change appearance, diagnose silence.
• Desktop and mobile share the model.
• Keyboard, focus and landmarks verified; Dean clicks through a rendered prototype before routes move (gh-UI/docs: radio jargon ("bed", "liner", "imaging", "ident", "patter") needs a plain name or a one-line explanation wherever it appears #707 plain-name rule applies to every label).

Wardrobe's one unique job — pack uninstall (fonts, icons, avatars today) — moves onto the catalog entry as Install ↔ Uninstall on the same row for every kind, or uninstall waits for post-launch; /design sizes it. Old routes redirect. gh-#707 plain-name rule applies to every label. Kill date: not clicked through by 2026-10-24 → the flat nav ships with renamed labels only.
