Guake opens new tabs in current directory, but follows symlinks

I have a symlink set up with /path/to/symlink -> /path/to/real/directory.

When I open a new tab, Guake normally opens it in the current directory. However, if I am in /path/to/symlink , Guake will open the new tab in /path/to/real/directory.

Can be reproducted. Not prioritized however.

For what it's worth: I noticed this issue too. It's not a big deal, but it did surprise me, since guake hardly ever lets me down. Needless to say, it can be a pain when the real path is very long (which happens to be one of the main reasons for me to create symlinks).

Is this a behavior for vte? I use terminator and get same result.
