Questions Help

It is VERY expected that students will have questions. Questions are always welcomed! They help us build a better course.

To ask a question:

• Click on "Issues" above, then
• click the green "New Issue" button, and
• type the question under "Write" where it says "Leave a comment", then
• provide the shortest possible summary of the question in "Title".
• Check "Preview" to review what you wrote and finally
• click the big friendly green "Submit new issue" button.

A few guidelines:

• Please don't include any personal information, such as your email, address, cc number, passwords or other information you wouldn't want the entire world to see. Issues are public
• If your github username doesn't include you real name, you might start your question with "Hi, this is ..." and your first name or what your instructor knows you as. This is only really needed later in the class, because the instructor will have some understanding of what sort of answer is best for you. E.g. the instructor may know you are a biology student and so frame the answer in terms of a biological process. But generally, this is optional.
• Please do be sure to include lots of detail. E.g. if you are getting an error message, for Pete sake, include that message! Link to or attach your code. Add pictures. Draw a diagram. Throw us a bone here!
