GitHub Actions - actions/setup-node v7.0.0 -> v7.1.0 (checkout and cache already latest) npm (in-range) - discord.js 14.27, axios 1.20, date-fns 4.4, @discordjs/rest 2.6.3, etc. npm (majors) - @types/node 20 -> 24, concurrently 9 -> 10, dotenv 16 -> 18, typescript 5.5 -> 5.9 - Held back: eslint 8, @typescript-eslint 7, eslint-config-airbnb-typescript (peer-pinned to typescript-eslint 7), pm2 5, discord-api-types 0.37 Jest -> Vitest 5 - Removed jest, @types/jest, ts-jest, jest-ts-webcompat-resolver, eslint-plugin-jest and their config; added vitest.config.ts - Tests import from 'vitest'; scripts are now vitest run / vitest - tsconfig: skipLibCheck, exclude vitest.config.ts from the build Version info - getGitData now reads only .git-deploy-commit and throws a clear error if it is missing or malformed; the git-log fallback, child_process use and shell-escape (+ @types/shell-escape) are removed. Fixes the no-use-before-define lint error in get-git-data.ts. - /version catches that error and replies "Bot is running an unknown version", consistent with create-client.ts.
