Visual artifacts when hovering over text with screen temperature or brightness filters enabled #392
When using Wind's screen temperature or brightness filters, hovering the mouse cursor over text or text input fields causes visual artifacts.
Instead of displaying the normal text cursor (I-beam), a large black rectangle appears around the cursor. This happens in Windows File Explorer and potentially other applications.
Steps to reproduce:
Enable the screen temperature or brightness filter in Wind.
Open Windows File Explorer.
Hover the mouse over a text input field, such as the address bar.
Observe the cursor rendering.
Expected behavior:
The text cursor (I-beam) should render normally without any visual artifacts, regardless of whether the filters are enabled.
Actual behavior:
A large black rectangular background appears around the I-beam cursor when hovering over text.
Additional information:
Wind version: 0.24.0
OS: Windows
Issue occurs when the brightness or temperature filter is enabled.
Screenshots attached.
Possible cause:
The screen filter may be interfering with hardware cursor rendering, transparency, or alpha blending, causing the cursor's normally transparent background to appear black.
