For example, I have a workflow that I run on RunPod Serverless Instances that I'd like to monetize with Echo. Ideally I'd have it configured to charge based on the execution time of the RunPod Serverless Job in seconds. Is this possible with Echo?
Hey @jontstaz, is there an AI resource involved? In that case, you would be able to rig up echo on the AI resource and monetize through that. Here's an example template that's WIP for what that might look like: #477. You'd basically collect an echo API key from your users, store it in a DB and your worker could then use that for hitting the router.
We're also internally working on something that could solve your use-case more precisely. Would you be open to jumping on a call to discuss this?
Essentially it involves a ComfyUI image to video Workflow running on a Serverless RunPod Instance. So it doesn't use any external AI providers/APIs like OpenAI, etc. It's essentially a selfhosted image to video model and I want to charge based on the execution time of the workflow. Eg. $1/minute. All the relevant information like execution time, etc is returned by the RunPod Serverless Response.
@jontstaz I think the best option for something like this is to x402 gate the generation, but we're open to supporting something like this within echo.
