The block movers learn the hybrid page (kKvHybrid: INT8 K codes + scales, Q4_0 V); the hybrid appends write through to the host copy and the prompt path's staging pool with aliased pools (K and V are each passed twice); snapshots of a streamed K8V4 state read the host copy. kv_stream_parity covers it (bitwise, streamed vs resident). At 128K with 20,480 resident cells: +780 slots over resident K8V4, and long-context decode is faster than resident KV. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The engine streams a K8V4 KV cache now, so setup no longer turns streaming off for it: the RAM test counts K8V4's 816 bytes per context token and attention layer (8-bit 1056, 4-bit 576). DETAILS.md no longer says K8V4 cannot stream. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Setup no longer excludes K8V4 from KV streaming (KV_CELL_BYTES prices 816 B/cell), and docs/DETAILS.md says it streams. This needs the engine of the PR #711 commit: MIN_ENGINE must be raised to 0.1.40 at the release, or an older engine refuses the pair. --kv k8v4(8-bit K, rotated 4-bit V) could not stream: the engine refused--kv k8v4 --kv-resident Nand setup turned streaming off for it. This adds streaming for the hybrid format, so K8V4's smaller KV cache and the freed VRAM of streaming add up.
