FAB auth manager doesn't show error messages on failed log in

What happened?

When you end up onhttp://127.0.0.1:9091/auth/login/ (I think this is the FAB auth manager| Maybe it'sand enter gibberish you just get redirected to the same page with no indication of an error.

I also noticed that there is markup in the page for the pinwheel logo but it is not visible.

And we are also trying to request (but failing) the static FAB assets:

http://127.0.0.1:9091/auth/static/loadingDots.css
http://127.0.0.1:9091/auth/static/airflowDefaultTheme.css

etc.
