Impromptu is an AI-powered tool that helps you create and curate a library of effective prompts for personal and professional use. The goal is to use LLMs to do most of the work for us, so we can just ask this tool for what we want and don't have to remember how to create great prompts.
Note: This project is in early alpha and we don't have the tool itself built just yet. We're still working on the seed prompts and the overall architecture. However, we want to share the vision and the rough draft of the prompts with the community to get feedback and help shape the project.
To use the prompts, you have two options:
- Copy and paste: Copy the prompts from the
bootstrappingsubdirectory and paste them into your local LLM or LLM service like Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, etc. - Attach seed prompts: Attach the seed prompts from the
bootstrappingsubdirectory to the LLM or LLM service as a system prompt. This will allow the LLM to use the prompts as a reference when generating new prompts.
Once you have the prompts, you can use them to generate new prompts by asking the LLM to create a prompt based on the seed prompts. For example, you can ask the LLM to generate a prompt for "designing a career strategy" or "preparing for a job interview". The LLM will then generate a prompt based on the seed prompts and your instructions.
The ultimate goal of Impromptu is to automate the process of creating and curating a library of effective prompts for personal and professional use. We want to use LLMs to do most of the work for us, so we can just ask this tool for what we want and don't have to remember how to create great prompts.
