Long transcripts should keep earlier history buffered while the user is reading or scrolling toward the top instead of waiting for the page boundary to enter the viewport. This expands earlier-page prefetch to two viewports, recognizes scrollbar-originated upward intent, and advances paging by the exact earlier-history revision so each cursor is requested once while preserving explicit clamped-edge loading; no migration is required because this is a client-side paging policy change.
