Description

Track on-device test coverage that is still excluded when running Mono.Android.NET-Tests with NativeAOT.

• Run the Java.Interop-Tests.dll assembly

  • Enabled by [tests] run Java.Interop-Tests on NativeAOT #10496
  • One trimmable-typemap fixture remains excluded by name; see below

• Enable the GCBridge category

  • Enabled by [tests] enable GCBridge category for NativeAOT #10494
  • GC bridge flakiness is tracked separately by GC Bridge in NativeAOT is flakey #10567

• Restore the remaining GC/JNI concurrency test

  • Java.InteropTests.JnienvTest.ToLocalJniHandleSurvivesConcurrentCollection
  • This test has both GCBridge and NativeAOTIgnore categories

• Enable the SSL category

  • It is still excluded for NativeAOT in TestInstrumentation.ExcludedCategories
  • Use a local HTTPS server in SslTest.HttpsShouldWork #12058 replaced an external HTTPS dependency with a local test server, so this category should be retried

• Enable the NTLM category

  • It is still excluded for both CoreCLR and NativeAOT
  • Related CoreCLR test tracker: CoreCLR on-device tests #10069

• Restore System.ExceptionTest.InnerExceptionIsSet

  • It has NativeAOTIgnore because NativeAOT stack traces are limited

• Keep System.AppContextTests.TestPrivateSwitches excluded by design

  • The tested private switches only exist in the MonoVM and CoreCLR BCL assemblies

• Resolve or accept the trimmable-typemap exclusion for Java.InteropTests.InvokeVirtualFromConstructorTests

  • [JniAddNativeMethodRegistrationAttribute] is unsupported by the trimmable typemap and emits XA4251

• Remove the obsolete AndroidClientHandler failure from this tracker

  • AndroidClientHandler was removed by Remove the obsolete AndroidClientHandler class #11393
  • Current HTTP-handler test exclusions are represented by the SSL and NTLM items above

• Java.LangTests.ObjectTest.JnienvCreateInstance_RegistersMultipleInstances

  • Fixed by [Mono.Android] fix "replaceable" objects in ManagedValueManager #10107
