The published build-property reference has not yet caught up with the .NET 11 runtime changes. Without a clear runtime boundary, developers may expect Mono-only settings to configure CoreCLR or NativeAOT applications.
This update preserves earlier Mono guidance while explaining the .NET 11 CoreCLR defaults for iOS, tvOS, and Mac Catalyst and the CoreCLR-only behavior on macOS. It documents the platform-specific errors for
UseMonoRuntime=true, identifies six Mono-only properties, and qualifies the MAUI Debug interpreter and trimming guidance. NativeAOT remains distinct, and the existingMtouchLinkandTrimModeguidance is retained.Internal previews
