Managed ilasm accepts /FOLD but currently emits duplicate method bodies separately.

Changes

  • Reuse the offset of an existing body when the complete serialized body—including its header and exception regions—is byte-identical.
  • Preserve existing emission when /FOLD is off and update the option documentation.
  • Cover identical bodies, differing headers and handlers, branches, and error-tolerant emission.
