docs: add automatic tagging scheme for sphinx needs #213

Closed

Description

@hoe-jo

It would be very helpful to have an automatic tagging scheme for sphinx needs, meaning all requirements which are located in a dedicated folder should automatically get the tag of the feature and subfeature they are assigned to. E.g.

All feature requirement which are located in persistency/key_value_storage should get the tag persistency and key_value_storage

maybe this can be achieved in the form of:

.. needextend:: "persistency" in docname
   :+tags: persistency

Topics to clarify:

  • Where to store the tag information?
    • One File Manually
    • Automatically via tooling
  • Structure of Tagging
  • Relation to "tags" of Feature Flags

    @hoe-jo Is this related to 'feature flags'?

    It was more or less intended for filtering needs within sphinx-needs

    Hi @hoe-jo,

    Is this issue still relevant? If not, please add the trash label so it can be marked for deletion.

    This does seem reasonable, but as we have ~1000 issues in the backlog, I'm closing everything that is not absolutely necessary for now.
