Tickets with the "50% FIP" discount cannot be purchased online or at ticket machines for "Koleje Wielkopolskie" (KW) trains; they are available only at ticket counters or on board the train.

In Poland, children aged 0–3 travel for free; a free ticket with a 100% discount must be obtained. Older children are not entitled to other discounts in Poland, so they require a 50% FIP card.
