For a specific use case the environment requires a HTTP Proxy for access to azureblob (client is on prem) I can't find any information as to how to configure this and the jvm options don't seem to be honored

    This is a little complicated because most of S3Proxy uses the default HTTP client so you can configure it via: https://stackoverflow.com/a/120802/2800111

    The azureblob-sdk storage backend uses a different client but honors some of the same properties: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/developer/java/sdk/proxying

    Could you experiment with this and add a wiki page for future users?
