Deprecate UWP for v6 #4497

Description

As of October 2021, Microsoft officially deprecated UWP

For version 6, we'll be deprecating UWP in the Sentry SDK for .NET.

I think this is mostly about updating the Sentry docs.

There are a couple of comments in the code that we might want to update as well:

// This integration is for WinUI 3. It does NOT work for UWP (WinUI 2).
// For UWP, the calling application will need to hook the event handler.
// See https://docs.sentry.io/platforms/dotnet/guides/uwp/
// (We can't do it automatically without a separate UWP class library,
// due to a security exception when attempting to attach the event dynamically.)

// GetWindowThreadProcessId is only available in the Windows SDK, so trying to call this from UWP apps will fail.
// We wrap use of this in a try/catch as a workaround. However, we need `ExactSpelling = true` here to suppress
// warnings about the use of this API when compiling UWP applications.

"WinRT", // WinRT, UWP, WinUI

We also need to deprecate/remove references from Sentry, like onboarding, links to docs, and such.

@jamescrosswell I don't quite understand the deprecation of UWP in v6. Based on my understading, the support for UWP has been provided through the .NET Standard version of the Sentry SDK for .NET, and I believe there has been no specific code/feature provided for UWP specifically. The plumbing on the app launch had to be done manually anyway as described in the docs.

What is actually changing then in v6? Is the setup through the .NET Standard DLL not going to work anymore? Or are you just dropping the documentation for UWP platform but the 'manual' setup of Sentry SDK is still legitimate and supported?

@jamescrosswell Still waiting for the feedback on the above...

@arek-corp sorry for the delay... no we haven't done anything to Sentry that should stop UWP from working. The only changes are removing any docs that imply we're actively supporting UWP (since we don't have the bandwidth to investigate any issues people might have with this):

    Understood @jamescrosswell

I think the Docs don't have any info (at least from what I have found) about any custom integrations based on .NET Standard nuget or generic .NET 8/9/10 nugets where Sentry does not officially support specific platform. Our UWP integration is based on .NET Standard 2.0 version of the library and since now there is no mention about it in the docs I'm worried Sentry will drop support for this integration path entirely in the future.

There are definitely no plans to drop support for .NET Framework or .NET Standard... either by Microsoft or by Sentry. So you're safe there.
