They tried to restore from a copy of icloud or by transferring data to a new iPhone XR - to no avail. The data remains in the iPhone storage (see screenshot. https://yadi.sk/i/BapoAW00Zg19KQ
Is it possible to regain access or launch google authenticator?
Same here, iOS 14.2 (official release, non-beta). Rebooting does not help. It seems the app is incompatible with 14.2 as there are even more users complaining in the App Store recently.
@ThomasHabets Well that one's title is iOS14.2, this one's is iPhone7, but that is just the point of view of the reporter. For the general FAQ "Google Authenticator just shows splash and disappears (probably after iOS upgrade)", they are the same. Maybe @romanbashinsky 's problem is more severe since Apple Support did not manage to help.
