Switch template project to pyproject toml? #11
Description

Yes, this is a great idea. I'm not familiar with pyproject.toml setup - can you submit a PR for this?

I have some prior art. Will look a bit closer at your implementation and create a PR

@SchrodingersGat how strongly do you feel about flake8? Ruff would be easier to configure and faster so might be a good point to change to that

I think that this issue can actually be closed on out now

Not really, we still rely on the setup.cfg
TBH I forgot about it, will try to make a PR the next week - should be pretty simple

Thanks a lot, I'll take a look in the next days and maybe try to refactor my existing plugins..
