Emotion Voice Agent — Lean-Mac M2 Edition

Project Overview

A real-time emotion-aware voice agent that adapts responses based on speech emotion recognition and reinforcement learning.

Features

  • Real-time speech emotion recognition
  • Emotion-adaptive responses using reinforcement learning
  • Interactive web interface with Streamlit
  • Model interpretability with SHAP
  • Support for Apple Silicon (M1/M2) acceleration

Quick Start

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/jadenfix/HumanVoiceAI.git
    cd HumanVoiceAI
  2. Set up the environment:

    # Install system dependencies
    ./scripts/setup.sh

    # Activate virtual environment
    source venv/bin/activate # On Unix/macOS
    # or
    .\venv\Scripts\activate # On Windows

    # Install in development mode
    pip install -e .
  3. Run the application:

    make demo
    # or
    python -m human_voice_ai
