Summary

Repair the advertised root workflow and publish a truthful, source-pinned demo of the provider-free offline slice.

  • python main.py now delegates to the actual application instead of exiting silently.
  • --seed and parsed --as-of drive every time-dependent fixture input; a cross-clock regression proves wall-clock independence.
  • Simulation-only --receipt produces byte-stable JSON; live mode rejects offline receipts.
  • Root GitHub Actions runs the actual subprocess workflow, deterministic receipt gate, and full media verifier with complete Git history and ffmpeg.
  • Two tracked .pyc files are removed.
  • The top-level README is narrowed to verified behavior and explicit limitations.
  • The GIF, MP4, poster, CLI trace, and JSON receipt are generated from the actual tested source.
  • The verifier pins runtime/generator/test inputs to Git blobs, replays the receipt byte-for-byte, checks artifact hashes, and fully decodes GIF/MP4.

Exact identities

Verification

python -m pytest -q hackathon/tests/test_offline_cycle.py hackathon/tests/test_offline_cli.py
# 5 passed

python scripts/verify_offline_demo.py
# verified source=826dc53... frames=96 artifacts=5

The exact root command was replayed across mocked 01:00 and 12:00 wall clocks with identical receipts. Both media files fully decode. The 96-frame GIF/MP4 and all eight scenes were visually inspected.

Honest scope

This is a deterministic synthetic fixture. It performs no live MARA request, market submission, trade, payment, wallet action, or external provider/model call. It does not establish forecast accuracy, profitability, latency, production readiness, or operational safety. Broader experimental files under hackathon/ remain outside this verified slice.

Independent exact-head clearance for 4b80ca9b096e81dc49a8084a1b1a73bb859bccbb (tree f9d32a4a4ac2b4f1018a2f4a1175d1fd0689dc02).

Recorded source

  • Commit: 826dc53efe3dc0ca6b9bf9dce108262a049e2132
  • Tree: 0cab7d701606477e47aaeb0e56ab85358f1972dc
  • Provenance: recorded source is an ancestor of the final head; all 15 pinned input Git blobs match.

Reproduced verification

  • python -m pytest -q hackathon/tests/test_offline_cycle.py hackathon/tests/test_offline_cli.py → 5 passed
  • Exact root command repeated twice → exit 0 and byte-identical receipts.
  • Explicit 01:00 vs 12:00 wall-clock replay → identical receipts.
  • Explicit TZ=UTC vs TZ=America/Los_Angeles subprocess replay → identical receipts.
  • Published receipt SHA256: 00cfeb8e3c356011dab8fe6f3dc14257f02f99f47f1d4298afaeb02e75c9a67e.
  • python scripts/verify_offline_demo.py → source verified, 96 frames, 5 artifacts.
  • Regeneration from the exact recorded source reproduced the receipt, trace, GIF, MP4, and poster byte-for-byte.
  • Hosted run 38399574717, job 115303425442 → fully green: dependencies, ffmpeg, 5 tests, actual workflow, deterministic receipt, clean-tree check, source/media verifier.
  • GitGuardian green.

Media integrity

All published artifact sizes, SHA256 values, and remote Git blob IDs match the independently reviewed files. GIF and MP4 fully decode as 96 frames / 9.6 seconds. Eight-scene contact sheets and the poster were visually inspected; values match the receipt.

Scope remains narrow and truthful: generated fixture data, provider-free, no market submission. No live market, forecast-accuracy, profit, latency, production, or operational-safety claim.

Two independent reviewers cleared this exact head. Ready for the designated sole merger; no merge was performed by this session.
