fix(accounts): admit reset Anthropic accounts and report OAuth subscription plans (supersedes #6933) - #6953
Conversation
A journaled reset (including a same-id replay) now lifts that account's cooldown, drops its cached quota row, and rereads its usage. A failed reread keeps the journal answer and leaves the account eligible. Model family exclusions are released only by a reread proving the family is no longer rejected. Carried from #6933 without its dashboard roster refresh. Co-authored-by: jeongjin <jinjeongshin@gmail.com>
…esh reread A replayed reset no longer lifts a refusal recorded after the reset settled, and the post-reset usage reread never joins an older account or vendor flight. Same-account logins whose tier read failed keep the stored plan; plan tests drain config-dir hardening before teardown; the provider guide describes the new plan sources.
Settlement now returns when the first answer was journaled, so a late overlapping answer cannot lift a refusal recorded after it; a refusal in the same clock tick as the settlement is kept. Explicit reauthentication merges the plan like other same-account logins, and an Antigravity onboarding failure no longer discards an observed tier. The barrier test always releases and awaits its held request.
An email-only reauthentication of an account stored with an id and the same email keeps its unobserved plan; a different identifier of the same kind still blocks inheritance. Adds the onboarding-failure tier case.

Token refresh now reads the Anthropic account profile for its subscription plan (#6935). The background-refresh quota test counted every request carrying the fresh bearer as a usage probe, so that profile read showed up as a second usage call (windows 5/9, run 38145316365). Route /api/oauth/profile separately, as tests/oauth/oauth-refresh.test.ts already does; the one-usage-call assertion is unchanged.
…d windows A reset grant now lifts a cooldown only when it is a quota (429) refusal recorded before the operation was first journaled, i.e. before any claim was sent, and the windows the canonical settlement reported cleared cover every window that refusal named (both when it named none). The journal persists the cleared windows and returns the claim fence on settlement and replay, so retries decide the same way. Entitlement refusals and uncovered windows stay cooled; usage is still reread so reset-derived recovery can act on fresh evidence. The admission evidence is now a required argument.
When a reset grant cannot lift a cooldown (uncovered windows or an entitlement refusal), routing now moves the retained entry to the new cooldown generation together with the account, so stale reads are invalidated but the fresh reset reread can still settle reset-derived recovery. Adds a no-Retry-After regression for both an exhausted and a recovered reread.

…ry-After quota cooldowns on fresh reads (#6995) Squashed from #6995 for the 2.84.0 release train. When every Anthropic OAuth account in the pool had spent its five-hour or weekly window, OpenCodex told Codex `429 rate_limit_exceeded`. Codex treats that as transient, so it retried each turn ("reconnecting 1/5 … 5/5") and ended on `exceeded retry limit, last status: 429` without ever saying the quota was spent (#6991). Separately, a quota cooldown whose deadline came from `Retry-After` stayed in place after a fresh usage read showed headroom (plan upgrade, early window reset), so the account stayed out until `ocx account clear-cooldown` (#6989). **Usage limit instead of rate limit (#6991).** For each held account, the latest hold decides whether it is spent quota or something a retry can outlast: | Hold on the account | Classified as | |---|---| | 429 cooldown (only shared-quota refusals record one), any deadline source | spent quota | | model-family exclusion | spent quota, unless its revalidation send is in flight | | transient admission pause (`Retry-After` without a rejected window) | retryable | | entitlement 403 cooldown | retryable | When no account the request's route can use is admissible and every held account is on spent quota, the Responses answer is HTTP 429 with `error.type`/`error.code` `usage_limit_reached`, `Retry-After`, and `resets_at` (epoch seconds), which Codex treats as final and renders as "try again at …". `resets_at` is the earliest upstream window reset. It is computed separately from the admission deadline (`Retry-After`, the 60 s default and the 30 min family-evidence lifetime are not resets) and is omitted when any held account's reset is unknown. A tie between a quota hold and a throttle counts as a throttle. No `plan_type` is sent, so Codex prints its generic usage-limit text rather than ChatGPT upgrade advice. This applies at the local pool refusal in `request-transport.ts`, both cooldown catches in `adapter-dispatch.ts`, the passthrough catch, the final upstream 429 once recovery finds no replacement, and the first iteration of a routed web-search loop. Combo children keep the old `rate_limit_error` body and wording byte for byte, so combo hops and target cooldowns are unchanged. Native `/v1/messages` keeps Anthropic's `rate_limit_error` type with usage-limit wording. Image-bridge terminals, opt-in empty-completion continuations and Chat Completions keep their current identity (documented in `structure/providers/anthropic-account-pool.md`). **Fresh reads lift Retry-After quota cooldowns (#6989).** A fresh usage read may now claim any live 429 cooldown that named a rejected window, whatever set its deadline (`retry-after`, `reset-derived`, `default`). The existing fences are unchanged: the claimed generation must still match, a read older than the claim settles nothing, a claim forces a fresh usage dispatch, and every named window must read below 100%. Entitlement 403s and windowless `Retry-After` refusals are never claimed. #6953's reset-grant admission is unchanged apart from its comment; #6962's API-key billing code is untouched. Logs and response bodies carry no account ids or tokens; the new message names only the pool scope and the reset time. Closes #6989 Closes #6991
Summary
Two account-pool fixes in one PR. It supersedes #6933.
A settled Claude reset grant now puts that account back into the pool (carried from #6933). A shared-quota 429 that carries Retry-After is stored as a
retry-aftercooldown, and a later usage probe cannot clear that kind. Before this change, spending a reset grant left the account cooled until the old deadline, even though upstream had reopened its windows. Now a journaledresetdoes three things for that one account: it lifts the cooldown, drops the cached quota row, and rereads usage. Review hardened the carried change:fetchAnthropicAccountQuota(..., freshDispatch)). Joining an older account or vendor flight could republish the pre-reset bars. The dashboard roster-refresh callback from #6933 is not carried, so this PR changes no GUI file. The dashboard shows the new health on its normal roster refresh.
OAuth account rows now report
planfor Anthropic (both pools) and Google Antigravity (#6935). Both upstream reads already happen today:/api/oauth/profilegivesorganization.rate_limit_tier(default_claude_max_20x→max_20x), withorganization_typeas a fallback (claude_pro→pro).loadCodeAssistgivespaidTier.id, falling back tocurrentTier.id. This was expected new behavior, not a product regression. Token refresh now reads the account profile for the plan, and the test stub counted every request with the fresh bearer as a usage probe. The stub now routes/api/oauth/profileseparately, astests/oauth/oauth-refresh.test.tsalready does. The one-usage-call assertion is unchanged. A static audit of every test that runs a real Anthropic token refresh or code exchange under a fetch stub found no other test that observes the extra read.Checklist
