When running the firmware version 1.14.0 on a RAK4631 wisblock, I will periodically (seems like once a day) have to reboot the device because I can no longer connect to it with the iOS meshcore app. I'm running version 1.42.0 of the app. Symptoms are as follows:
- Device is responsive and connects immediately after reboot.
- Device works for several hours with the iOS app moving in and out of BLE range.
- Device eventually hangs and becomes unresponsive. I can no longer connect to it via BLE.
- I factory reset the device and it works fine for a few days then similar behavior.
- When going to reset the device after it hangs, the blue light is solid and not flashing. This implies to me that the device thinks it's connected when it is not connected to my phone.
Resetting my phone connection has no effect.
Forgetting the device in my phone's bluetooth settings has no effect.
Re-pairing the device has no effect. The only solution is to reset the RAK4631 device using the reset button or pulling power and then plugging it back in. After doing so, the blue light starts blinking and I can re-pair to the device.
