on Jun 24, 2019 ContributorAuthorMore actionsSeveral customers would benefit from that implementation:
- AzIP plugin for Office
- other Office plugins in general
- MRW in Unity Editor (.NET 4.6)
- other customers who'd need a full-fledged cross-platform .netcore implementation with UTC channel

on Jan 7, 2020 ContributorAuthorMore actionsMRW shipped with existing SDK. Currently there's no commitment to work on PInvoke-based C# netcore projection. This issue is not resourced, but up for grabs by anyone willing to support this scenario.

on Jan 10, 2020 ContributorAuthorMore actionsThere's some reference example how to implement a wrapper in this PR #231 ... This work is not complete, but at least giving an idea how one may implement a C# wrapper on top of C API.

on Sep 30, 2020 ContributorAuthorMore actionsI'm closing this issue, as it is stale and the effort is not funded. There are several options:
- use Ben's Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android bindings #623 Xamarin solution for Mobile
- use C++/CX projection on Windows
- use Example showing how to use 1DS C API shared lib in .NETcore 3.x app #231 for slim .NET Core implementation that provides min-usable
LogEventAPI surface.
- added a commit that references this issue
