Bug: Adding a new localStorage space breaks the demo space #40

Description

When adding a new localStorage space, the demo space gets broken/corrupted.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the app with the default demo space working
2. Add a new localStorage space
3. Observe the demo space is now broken

Expected Behavior

Adding a new localStorage space should not affect the existing demo space.

Actual Behavior

The demo space becomes non-functional after adding a new localStorage space.
