Cap automatic sample iterations

[Guflly]

Stops automatic sampling from growing without bound when input generation is much slower than the benchmark. Explicit sample counts are unchanged.

Adds regression coverage for the zero-duration and slow-input cases. The test suite, Clippy, and rustdoc checks pass locally.
