Verified against the current 2026.2 branch: this is already fixed by pimcore/generic-data-index-bundle#467 (PEES-1311, "index queue batch abort on missing asset file"), merged 2026-07-24 — one day after this issue was filed — and released in generic-data-index-bundle v2026.2.3 (current release: v2026.2.5, also forward-merged to 2026.x).

That fix:

• guards every file-dependent extraction in VideoSerializationHandler (getDuration(), getWidth(), getHeight()) with per-field try/catch (Throwable) and widens the existing thumbnail catch from Exception to Throwable, so a video asset with a missing binary is still indexed — the affected fields are simply null and the failure is logged;
• additionally isolates each IndexQueue entry in IndexQueueService::handleIndexQueueEntries(), so a single failing asset can no longer abort the whole batch;
• ships unit tests for the Document/Video/Image handlers plus a functional IndexQueueTest covering the missing-file scenario.

This can be closed as fixed — please upgrade to generic-data-index-bundle >= v2026.2.3 and reopen if you can still reproduce it there.
