I design and build interfaces for complex technical systems - especially AI, infrastructure, developer tools, and security.
My work usually starts with the same question:
How do we help people do their best work with AI β without replacing their judgment, context, or craft?
Right now I'm building Campfire and a connected set of open-source infrastructure explorations under Boring Infra Co., alongside case studies from product work at companies like Elevate Security, Code42, and Oracle.
- π₯ Campfire β a shared workspace where humans and agents work together
- π§ Root β reproducible developer environments on Nix, built for humans and coding agents
- ποΈ Portfolio β case studies, explorations, and writing
- βοΈ how ai removed the last excuse β on building across design and engineering
Campfire is my main independent product bet.
The thesis is simple: one agent in one session is manageable. A team of agents across private terminals is not β unless the work has a durable place to live.
Campfire is not an orchestrator. It is a workspace for:
- goals
- sessions
- decisions
- findings
- history
So the next person or agent is not starting from nothing.

These are not a suite pitch. They are different answers to the same question:
What do agents need in order to do reliable work?
| Project | Layer |
|---|---|
| Campfire | Where the work lives |
| Combie | How the stack connects |
| Pico | What an agent can reach |
| Harnie | Work that outlives a session |
| Meno | Whether a claim is proven |
| Root | Reproducible environments |
A safer, more inspectable package and environment workflow for developers and coding agents.
Root is built around the idea that installs and environments should be:
- reproducible
- reversible
- inspectable
- agent-friendly
- powered by Nix without making users become Nix experts

I work across product thesis, interaction, visual identity, and production frontend.
Lead product design on a clearer way for security teams to define complex risk β from condition logic to outcome definition to saved rules.

I believe AI products should make people feel more capable, not less involved.
The best tools do not remove the human. They give the human:
- more context
- better timing
- clearer tradeoffs
- safer defaults
- faster paths from idea to reality
I like building products that feel practical, grounded, and useful before they feel magical.
Design + engineering is not a contradiction anymore. It is the baseline.
I'm a design engineer with experience across:
- product design
- frontend engineering
- design systems
- accessibility
- AI-native workflows
- cloud and security products
- developer tools
- early-stage startups
I've worked across design and engineering roles at Boring Infra Co., SZNS Solutions, Code42, Elevate Security, Oracle, and earlier product work through freelance and founder roles.
Today I'm focused on tools that help teams work with AI in ways that are more reliable, transparent, and human-centered.
- Design the system before polishing the UI
- Build small, testable loops
- Make state and history visible
- Keep the human in control
- Prefer useful over impressive
- Ship, learn, tighten, repeat
- Shipping Campfire from thesis β product β public docs
- Building out the Boring Infra exploration set
- Making Root useful for local developer and agent workflows
- Writing about design, engineering, and building end to end
- Designing products where humans and agents collaborate well

AI should not turn people into spectators.
It should give them better leverage, better context, and better ways to act.
