What problem does your feature solve?
As an operator I'd like to be able to enable distributed tracing, so I can get detailed performance measurements across my entire stack for real-world performance visibility and diagnostics.
What would you like to see?
Do some research on the current state of distributed tracing, and integrate it into soroban-rpc.
Paul: From my research, it seems like OpenTelemetry is the current clear winner in the space. So let's just go with that.
Tracing should include spans for rpc handlers, and would also ideally include sub-spans for information on:
- SQLite queries
- core txsub
