Add support for app bubbles

Android 17 added app bubbles where you can bubble as many apps as you want by pressing on the app and pressing bubble. This is a great multi-tasking tool. Unfortunately, olauncher doesn't support it so I don't think it can be used.

I'm not sure how this would be implemented because currently long pressing the pinned apps allows you to change the app that's pinned. For the list of apps, it could be a button like the hide app. I have a few ideas, im open to feedback on them as well we any other alternatives that would allow app bubbling functionality. Or if you think this function shouldn't be added to Olauncher, I respect it.

I apologize if my terminology is wrong. Im using pinned apps to refer to the up to 8 you select and the main screen.

Idea 1, simpler:

Perhaps a lock could be added in settings to allow functions on the pinned apps like how you can in the searched apps. I feel like it doesn't make sense that even after months of use with the same pinned apps, the functionality for long presses remains so limited.

Idea 2, more complex changes, but improves the experience in more ways:

I propose unifying the options that happen when long pressing apps in the pinned main home screen and the list of apps to allow the app bubbles feature.

So after the changes:

First setting apps to be pinned/home screened in olauncher- you long press on the empty app area and you are allowed to select the app to be there.
Replacing a pinned app - you long press and the uninstall, rename, hide, info, close screen comes up, but now there's an additional one for replacing. Perhaps replace the close button because it seems useless.

Olauncher is made in a simple minimalist and anti-distraction way.... Multi-task is pretty much the opposite. (No hate to you ♥)
However, an extension feature, or maybe a "developer mode"-ish thing may be good for powerusers.

I'm not saying to implement my other ideas for how to integrate app bubbling. That was just a brainstorm for how to fit the "bubble apps" into the launcher. In retrospect I should have kept the issue more limited in scope.

I agree it should be simple but I don't think that it should lack support for standard, abeilt new, Android features like the app bubble. There's precedent for adding support for new Android features that affect lock screen with support for "Private Spaces".

On the stock Android launcher, bubble apps feature is the only real OS-level "feature" when you click on an app. When you long press on an app, there's three options. App Info, Remove, and Bubble. That's damn simple if you ask me.

I don't think a separate mode should be added, that can get out of hand and would make it less likely to be implemented. Better to be opinionated and beautiful as this app is.

I see what you are talking about. For a temporary workaround, here is a suggestion.

Try going to recent apps and clicking on the app icon on the top;
If it opens the app, instead, try press and holding the app icon;
if it also opens the app, instead; try press and holding the app card in recent.

Usually one of them will Open a menu which may have app info button and more.

If you can not see the bubble button, you will have to go to developer mode and try enabling some options, usually in the very bottom of the page. (Referance of android 10, 11) It has/had options like enable freeform window, which may add a freeform buttom to the recent apps for a floating window.
