Built-in calendar and guide-shell trigger global output service override warnings #687
pm package doctor --project --detail deep --strict-exit reports extension_output_service_override_global warnings for two first-party built-in packages in a healthy project:
output_format:project:builtin-calendar
output_format:project:builtin-guide-shell
These are managed built-ins installed by pm itself, not custom project extensions. The doctor remediation says global output services should return the original payload or null/undefined unless they own the command.
Environment
@unbrained/pm-cli: 2026.7.24-3
managed built-ins: 0.1.0
package scope: project
Reproduction
pm package doctor --project --detail deep --strict-exit
Actual result
The report is otherwise healthy (12 managed and active packages, zero load/activation/blocking failures) but returns two extension_output_service_override_global warnings naming the first-party calendar and guide-shell output-format services.
Expected result
First-party built-ins scope their output service overrides to owned commands, or the diagnostic recognizes a safe built-in ownership contract, so a default healthy installation has no actionable global-override warnings.
Why this matters
Projects using strict package-doctor gates cannot distinguish these built-in warnings from unsafe third-party global renderer/service interception. Fixing the service ownership behavior is preferable to suppressing the diagnostic.
