SDK reads lose useful context when brief rows hide their sort value, lifecycle filters expand fields, legacy dependencies crash reads, or passing health output grows with the extension registry. This change makes those reads deterministic, concise and recoverable through shared SDK contracts.

  • Preserve normalized explicit sort fields in brief lists and keep caller-selected fields and compact/full modes authoritative.
  • Select the invoked command default independently of lifecycle filters. All-status lists remain brief; explicit full strict reads and raw SDK full defaults remain compatible.
  • Preserve timestamp-free legacy dependencies, diagnose invalid RFC3339/calendar values without mutating their source, and expose optional provenance honestly in SDK types.
  • Bound passing extension health to counts, retain authoritative verdicts and full recovery, keep health checks structured in TOON, and use linear Set membership to retain every deciding finding. Validation keeps adaptive compact encoding.
  • Refresh four compatible dependencies, the runtime lock, SDK snapshot, packaged documentation links, and focused regression coverage.

Current-head CI passed, including exact 100/100/100/100 coverage, platform/runtime checks, security gates, and npm/npx/Bun/bunx consumer acceptance. Independent regressions fail before the fixes; cursor fixtures retain their budgets, deadlines and recovery assertions. The real published-artifact compatibility matrix also passes. The final health refinement passes 75 focused tests plus full typecheck, with order, duplicates, out-of-sample blockers, verdicts and input preservation verified.

Seven delivery items are closed with immutable evidence and released claims; the complete live in-progress inventory is empty. Latest pm-changelog 2026.10.16 generates exactly five Unreleased entries and preserves previous release sections. All six actionable review findings are fixed and resolved. Some requested reviews encountered provider plan/rate limits; unavailable reviews are not approvals.

Merge is currently blocked only by required DeepScan, which remains Analyzing without an exact-head result URL. Its existing webhook was redelivered once, a metadata head requested fresh analysis, and this same PR was closed/reopened once with source and review history preserved. Analyzer policy and required checks remain intact. The observations are recorded under the existing analyzer lineage; no root cause is claimed. Historical release reliability and qualified local latency observations remain tracked separately.

Trackers: pm-gh1481, pm-gh1482, pm-gh1486, pm-gh1489, pm-ul0ow4, pm-dl94xj, pm-ev43uo.

New report #1491 is recorded as pm-gh1491 for isolated reproduction and ancestry review. It remains open and unclaimed.

Keep the normalized explicit sort field in brief list projections while
preserving explicit field and compact selections. Read legacy dependency
rows without timestamps deterministically and reject invalid supplied
timestamps with an actionable item-document diagnostic instead of a crash.

Bound passing extension health details independently of registry growth,
retain authoritative verdicts, and restore complete evidence with --full.
Keep nested check evidence structured in TOON. Extract health projection
logic without retaining the former coverage exclusion and acknowledge the
standard projection discriminator in the public SDK surface snapshot.

Refresh eligible TOON, Node types, jscpd and knip versions and regenerate
the runtime lock. Add boundary regressions, compatibility coverage, docs,
typed tracker relationships and verification evidence for pm-gh1481,
pm-gh1482, pm-gh1486 and pm-ul0ow4.

The full local functional run passed 10575 tests. The added migration
summary case passes with the focused health suite after the exact coverage
gate exposed two untested lines. Preserve the local qualified transport
latency failures and original-revision comparison under pm-bj7rq0; require
final-head hosted coverage and static admission before cohort closeout.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Health reports offer standard, brief, summary, and full output, with concise extension summaries and access to detailed evidence.
    • Brief list results retain requested sort fields, and status filters preserve the invoked command’s default fields while returning matching items across statuses.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Legacy dependencies without creation timestamps remain supported and sort deterministically; invalid supplied timestamps produce a clear validation error.
    • Health check details are no longer automatically formatted as tables in TOON output.
  • Documentation
    • Updated command and output guides to describe projection behavior and dependency timestamp handling.

This pull request updates CLI and SDK list projections, dependency timestamp validation and sorting, and health-result projections. It also refreshes compatible dependency versions and adds PM records for implementation tracking and October 17 operational status.

Reviewer's Guide

This PR aligns SDK read contracts across list, item, and health paths: brief lists retain normalized sort context, legacy dependencies remain deterministic and diagnosable without fabricated provenance, and health output uses shared bounded projections that preserve authoritative verdicts while allowing --full recovery; it also refreshes four dependencies, regenerates lock/runtime metadata, and records the associated verification and tracking updates.

Assessment against linked issues

Issue Objective Addressed Explanation
#1481 When --sort <field> is specified without --fields, include the normalized sort field in the brief list projection and its projection.fields metadata, while leaving explicit fields and other projection modes authoritative. ✅
#1482 Ensure reading items with multiple dependencies that lack optional created_at timestamps does not crash, using a deterministic sort fallback without inventing timestamps. ✅
#1482 Make malformed dependency timestamps produce actionable diagnostics through item reads and expose the affected item through validation or health checks. ✅
#1486 Keep passing extension health details concise by default, while allowing the full registry evidence to be explicitly requested. ✅
#1486 Render health checks as structured TOON data rather than encoding the nested checks object as an escaped JSON string. ✅
#1486 Ensure brief health details do not become larger than the corresponding default details. ✅

Apply the SDK default for the invoked list command before status aliases
can substitute their legacy family defaults. All-status, draft and canceled
filters now preserve the canonical brief projection without changing row
selection, explicit selectors, raw SDK defaults or full strict audit reads.

Add a real CLI regression selecting active and completed work through both
all-status spellings. The test fails at the intended full-versus-brief
mismatch before this fix and passes with command registration contracts
(55 tests). Record canonical pm-gh1489 ownership, linked evidence and graph
relationships alongside the related read-context fixes in PR 1490.

Request full list rows in the cursor fixtures whose unchanged token budgets
must exercise output continuation. The new brief all-status default fits those

Retain the original ordering, deletion, recovery, budget and timeout checks;
both suites pass with the real packed SDK under Node and native Bun.

Track GH 1491 as open and unclaimed for isolated reproduction. Distinguish
the reported preferred-side add/add conflict artifacts from the completed
creation-ancestry guard, and retain that guard as an explicit constraint.
Link the existing merge-settlement and history-driver lineage instead of
duplicating or reopening shipped fixes.

Capture complete planning context, the reported behavior and safe acceptance
boundaries. Verify tracker-context, graph and record-integrity gates plus the
package-owned changelog check. Record the latest review-provider failure as
unavailability while preserving the verified read-context delivery evidence.

The four reviewed repairs are independently supported at bcf3f65e881105e31179c50d3a3001c3e20e22e5. The remaining hosted static-gate failure has a separate, localized cause.

Run 39036093963, Gates (static) reports prose-edge-gaps-ceiling: 1,234 observed versus the unchanged 1,233 ceiling at 13:29:59 UTC. The preceding six-operation CLI transport-floor check passed.

The new pm-dl94xj task names existing latency owner pm-bj7rq0 in its final verification comment, but neither endpoint has a structured relationship to the other. Running the exact current pure prose-census helpers on both records reports pm-dl94xj->pm-bj7rq0|subject=implicit; adding only that relationship in memory removes exactly one gap. The changed reminder is explicitly exempt, and the latency-owner comment adds no new PM-ID mention.

This is a scoped reproduction using the three changed records and identity-only stubs for their declared-link endpoints, not an independently rerun whole-corpus census. No tracker or source changes were made. Please record the intended relationship to the existing owner through the normal PM CLI, keeping the ceiling unchanged, then rerun the graph-composition gate. Expected acceptance: that pair no longer appears as an implicit prose-only gap and the hosted count returns to at most 1,233. No duplicate product issue is needed.

The final review-closeout comment cited pm-bj7rq0 without a typed relationship,
raising the graph's prose-edge gap count from1233 to1234 and correctly blocking
the hosted static gate. Add the related edge through the PM CLI and retain the
immutable observation and original graph ceiling.

The exact graph gate reproduces the missing relationship before the correction
and passes afterward; record integrity and package-owned changelog checks pass.
Runtime source is unchanged from bcf3f65, which passed all other required checks
and exact100/100/100/100 coverage with zero skipped coverage entries.

Index the retained warning sample and all deciding causes in one Set-backed
helper, then filter findings in their original order. Share that rule across
standard/full, brief and summary paths and compute the bounded warning slice
once. This removes repeated scans of the unbounded failure list and repeated
warning-slice allocation without truncating any deciding evidence.

Add a220warning/101failure regression covering blockers outside both warning
samples, duplicate findings, stable order, authoritative verdicts and input
preservation. Complete two older test fixtures with their required empty
failed_because array while retaining all existing receipt/redaction assertions.

Track the review under pm-ev43uo through the PM CLI, with planning, linked files,
tests, immutable closure evidence and released ownership.75focused tests, the
final4fixture cases, full typecheck, focused ESLint, the unchanged SDK snapshot,
graph/record integrity and package-owned changelog checks pass.

Preserve the exact source1d974eaa2 CI and coverage proof in the existing analyzer
lineage. Every GitHub Actions workflow and CodeFactor passed, but DeepScan left
its required status at Analyzing without a result URL for more than30minutes.
The official dashboard reports operational status, the active webhook delivery

unconfirmed; no analyzer settings, source, thresholds or required checks change.

Record the operational evidence through the PM CLI and retain the original
