Summary

  • Let structured assistant error cards fill the resizable transcript message column.
  • Guard responsive widths for error, permission, AskTool, and turn outcome cards.
  • Document the responsive behavior and visual check.

Validation

  • Desktop build, typecheck, and style-token lint passed.
  • Targeted transcript/error/card tests passed (45 tests).
  • pnpm test:e2e:transcript passed on candidate af89497 with base fd03cf0.
  • Full pnpm build:js remains blocked by an unrelated TS2742 error in packages/agent-runtime/src/subagent-model-binding.ts.

Structured assistant errors were capped independently of the resizable transcript column. Let the card fill its message column and guard the responsive width contract for neighboring transcript cards.
