• If your site calls its createChatRoute endpoint from its own client instead of the built-in Ask AI chat, make sure every request sends a valid message history. Each message needs a parts array, and each part needs a string type. Each tool part (tool-* or dynamic-tool) also needs a toolCallId that is a non-empty string of at most 256 characters. Requests that break these rules now get a 400. Histories sent by the built-in Ask AI client are unaffected.
• If that custom client sends histories with more than 2,000 message parts in total, raise the cap with the new limits.maxMessageParts option on createChatRoute. Otherwise those requests get a 400.

• Ask AI accepts messages up to 4,000 characters, up from 1,000. Short messages like "hi" can now be sent.
• Docs pages download less JavaScript. Components such as Tabs, Mermaid, CopyPrompt, code block tabs, and the Video player load only on pages that use them.
• Phones no longer prefetch every navbar page on load. Mobile menu links prefetch only once the menu opens.
• New optional prefetch: false on nav links, for example { label: "Changelog", href: "/changelog", prefetch: false }. Use it to stop large pages from being prefetched on every page load.
• The chat route now rejects malformed message histories, and Ask AI input has small fixes: no "Chat cleared" toast, and the loading indicator no longer shifts.
