AIVE is made for basic Amiga : less than 1 Mb, no hard drive, no FPU .
It makes you able to display GIF and IFF 256 colors pictures on your Amiga,
with every size (yes, you can display a 1024x768 picture !) .
It runs under OS1.3/2.0 .

* advantages :
   - good quality
   - it is quick
   - it can fit a picture into a standard size screen (autoscaling)
   - it detects NTSC/PAL, OS1.3/OS2.0
   - it runs with less than 1Mb
   - it uses Floyd-Steinberg dithering
   - it can smooth pictures
   - it uses all video mode of Amiga (with old chip set):
     HAM,EHB, Low resolution, Hight resolution
   - can display picture in grey levels
   - reads GIF87a,GIF89a (Interlaced or not), IFF 256 colors

* disadvantages:
   - it CAN'T load HAM IFF and 24 bits pictures
   - its computer-human interface is insufficient
