Countdown Timer?

[llsJllsJ]

HI, your table is very nice after i have try, I really love it. :)
Is it possible to make countdown timer that load datetime from database and make it show in each row?

It's possible. Use display field property of jTable: http://jtable.org/ApiReference#fopt-display

By using display property, you can do whatever you want. You can get the DateTime value that is sent from server, create a span (as jQuery object and return it as return value of display function.), start a timer to update this span in every second. That's all. Thanks for using jTable.

I have tried to do it but I still don't know how to make it counting down. This is my code.

                timeStop: {
                    title: 'TimeStop',
                    width: '20%',
                    display: function (data) {

                        var conDate = Date.parse(data.record.timeStop).getTime()/1000;
                        var today = new Date().getTime()/1000;
                        var difTime = conDate-today
                        var day=0,hours=0,minutes=0,seconds=0;
                        if(difTime>0){
                              day=Math.floor(difTime/84600);
                              hours=(Math.floor((difTime/3600))%24) + day*24 ;
                              minutes=Math.floor(difTime/60)%60;
                              seconds=Math.floor(difTime)%60;
                        }
                        var c = hours+' H '+minutes+' M '+seconds+' S ';
                        return c;
                    }

Hi,

Hmmm...It may be a little hard. It's not about jTable and I've no time to code it for now but I'll describe it briefly.
(Also your code has errors (for instance, there is no ; at the end of 'var difTime...' line.)
display property is calld by jTable when the row is rendered. So, it's called once the table loaded and your time is written only once. If you want that is called in every second, you must use a timer (such as setTimeout). I advide you to start timer when table is loaded (you can use http://jtable.org/ApiReference#event-recordsLoaded event for instance). Also you must stop timer when that row is deleted from table (page may be changed or table is refreshed).
So, it's not that simple, sorry :(
