Checkbox group

Great plugin!

Would you be able to implement an option to have a group of check boxes in an edit form? At the moment none of the edit controls have the functionality to allow the selection of multiple choices.

Cheers

I've also just discovered that if a check box on an edit form is left unchecked the value does not get posted.

Hi,

I have a plan to add a built-in checkbox control into jTable. For now, you can http://jtable.org/ApiReference#fopt-input to create a custom html for an input element in the form.

Checkbox does not send value to server since it's default behavior of HTML forms. So, it's not related to jTable since it uses simple HTML forms.

Thanks.

But I would like to ask a question，like this demo http://www.jtable.org/Demo/SelectingRows ,Each time i click to refresh the page, Previously selected ‘ Selected rows’ is invalid.How can i always take ‘ Selected rows’?
BTW My English is poor I do not know that you understand yet? :P
like i selected page1 one list checked when i goto page2 then go back page1,it still checked.How can i do this?Thanks a lot!

It's not possible yet bot this is a good feature request. For now, if it's really needed, you can add your selected rows to a list and re-select it with such a code:

        rowInserted: function (event, data) {
            if (isInMySelectList(data.record.Id)) {
                data.row.find('td.jtable-selecting-column input').attr('checked', true);
                data.row.addClass('jtable-row-selected');
            }
        }

isInSelectList is you method to check if this row must be selected.

Hi

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I ended up using a form within a Bootstrap Modal with a multiple choice enabled select making a post direct to the database as it was for a simple update of a single field.

Cheers
