https://webhint.io/scanner/ returns 404

Since a few weeks now, the https://webhint.io/scanner/ URL is returning 404:

C:\Users\XhmikosR\Desktop>curl -ILls https://webhint.io/scanner/ | findstr 404
HTTP/2 404

Is the page gone or is it a mistake? If it's gone, I guess it should be redirected, although, personally, I used it from time to time, but I'm sure there were probably reasons.

We did actually retire the online scanner recently. But you're correct that the 404 is not intentional--the site should redirect to our new and improved recommendations for users who want to get started with webhint.

We've taken a look, and it looks like we didn't pick up this content in the latest site update. Thanks for letting us know--we should have this fixed shortly!

Still a 404 and no hint on website that the scanner is discontinued.

Better a 410 gone error page and a meaningful message that the scanner has been discontinued.
