Ask about unfinished artifacts before the preview archives the change.
Step 3 only records artifacts that are neither done nor skipped. Step 4 then runs openspec archive "<name>" --json without --yes. When tasks are complete and no spec delta exists, the CLI has no confirmation status for an unfinished artifact. The change can therefore be archived before the user sees the step 3 findings.
Suggested fix
3. **Check what is unfinished**
Run \`openspec status --change "<name>" --json\` and note any artifact that is neither \`done\` nor \`skipped\` (\`skipped\` satisfies the requirement: the change declares \`skip_specs\`).
+ If any artifact is unfinished, show the list and ask whether to continue before step 4. On "Cancel", stop.Regenerate skills/openspec-archive-change/SKILL.md after updating the template.

- Each workflow states its steps first and keeps rarely needed detail in references/. Shared rules are written once in references.ts. - Archive previews with `openspec archive --json`, asks about each warning and any unfinished artifact, then lets the CLI merge, validate, and move, or refuse and change nothing. - Explore keeps a living draft (scope, capabilities, requirements, open questions). Propose builds from the settled scope, reads the existing specs, checks what the code already does, and plans only the gap. - Spec guidance: one obligation per requirement, a scenario for each way the requested behavior fails with concrete values and no invented validation, no internal names, and compatible changes by default. - tasks.md ends with an "Update the specs" task and apply ends by offering to archive (#1968). `openspec context --json` returns project_context. …orkflow The openspec-beta router (user-invoked, like pstack's poteto-mode and Matt Pocock's ask-matt) holds what OpenSpec is, which workflow to run, and the rules every workflow shares; each workflow's steps live in references/<workflow>.md. Each openspec-beta-<workflow> skill is a short pointer into it, so workflows autocomplete, every rule lives once, and planning workflows state the plan-only boundary where they are invoked. Descriptions are quoted so strict YAML parsers (npx skills add) accept them. The skills.sh copy in skills/ is this set. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…vert `openspec setup` installs the openspec-beta skills for every coding agent it finds: a Claude Code plugin, and ~/.agents/skills for Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, and others. It never deletes: older OpenSpec skills, /opsx command files (inside a project), and anything already under the beta names (an npx copy and its symlinks) move into a dated backup with a manifest written after every move. `openspec setup --revert` puts every file back. Moves fall back to copying across disks, and an interrupted setup can still be reverted. `openspec update` refreshes the install. An end-to-end test runs init, setup twice, update, and --revert through the built CLI and checks the home folder and project end byte-for-byte where they started, on macOS, Linux, and Windows. Runs real requests through headless Claude Code against any two checkouts, on the bundled todo library or a real project (--fixture), grades each run with the OpenSpec CLI and the file system, and compares plans and skill text with blind judges. …de CLI An opt-in test (OPENSPEC_REAL_CLAUDE=1) registers the openspec-beta plugin with the real claude binary in a throwaway home, checks Claude Code lists it and its skills, reverts, and checks it is gone. A new CI job installs a pinned Claude Code and runs it with the end-to-end journey on Linux, macOS, and Windows. It is not a required check, since it depends on an external package. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ills With the real CLIs on PATH, the opt-in test checks that `codex debug prompt-input` and `gemini skills list` show the openspec-beta skills after setup and none after --revert. CI installs pinned versions and requires all three agents, so a failed install fails instead of skipping. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Skills from an earlier namespace carry the layout marker too, so setup now treats any OpenSpec skill outside the current namespace as older and backs it up. - The plugin name is recorded; when it changes, setup unregisters the old plugin before registering the new one, and revert uses the recorded name. - Tests: one beta to the next refreshes in place and drops turned-off workflows; a rename moves the earlier skills and unregisters their plugin. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…he beta in the changeset The repo's four maintainer skills in .agents/skills now set metadata.internal, which the skills CLI documents as hidden from normal discovery, so `npx skills add` lists only the openspec-beta skills. The changeset now describes what this PR ships. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
… known limits Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Codex on Windows finds the home folder through the OS profile, not USERPROFILE, so it could not see skills in the test's sandboxed home. On a Windows CI runner, which is discarded after the job, the test now uses the real home. The job also moves to Node 22, which Claude Code requires. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…comes steps Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Setup only wrote `~/.agents/skills` when it recognised one of eleven agents by the folder it creates. That list can never be complete: `AI_TOOLS` already knows 49 tools with a skills directory, so a Pi or Zed user running `openspec setup` was told "No coding agents found" and got nothing. `~/.agents/skills` is the cross-vendor Agent Skills location, so the copy there is now written unconditionally. An agent OpenSpec has never heard of picks the skills up by honouring the convention rather than by waiting for us to learn its name, and an agent installed later finds them without re-running anything. Detection now only shapes the summary, which says "Any agent" and names the folder when it recognises none. Claude Code stays on the plugin, since it does not read that folder. One copy is also the structural answer to #2180: a harness that reads both its own folder and the portable one finds two skills of the same name, keeps one and warns on every start. OpenSpec now writes skills to exactly one container folder and never a harness-native copy, which a new test asserts by walking the home directory and requiring that `~/.agents/skills` is the only one. Checked by hand on machines whose only marker was `.pi`, `.config/zed`, and nothing at all: each installs the 6 skills, the summary explains the folder, and `--revert` removes all of them. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Setup moved every `openspec-beta*` folder it had not written. A skill of the user's own named `openspec-beta-mine` collides with nothing OpenSpec installs, yet it disappeared from `~/.agents/skills` on setup and only came back on revert. Narrowing that to the names this install writes fixed it but regressed the case it was there for: the committed `skills/` mirror carries the layout marker and no `generatedBy`, so an `npx skills add` copy of a workflow this profile does not install - `openspec-beta-ff` and five others - was then left behind for the agent to load. Both marks now count: a name this install writes, or the layout marker, which only these generated skills have. Verified against the real skills CLI: setup over a full npx install leaves exactly the 6 it installs, and a hand-written prefixed skill survives setup, update and revert untouched. The summary also called everything it moved "older OpenSpec files" and named only the folder it came from, so a user whose own file moved could not find it. It now says how many files moved, from where, into which backup, and that `--revert` puts them back. While measuring the Claude-only risk flagged on this PR, Claude Code's own debug output settles it: "Loading skills from: managed=..., user=~/.claude/ skills, project=[]" - it does not read `~/.agents/skills`, and it reports skipping duplicate entries silently rather than warning. The canonical copy beside the plugin costs disk, not correctness. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Four reviews ran over this PR in parallel. Reproduced and fixed: DATA LOSS, case-folding filesystems. A folder spelled `OpenSpec-Beta` answers to the name setup writes, so `isOurs` read the user's SKILL.md, skipped the `rm`, and the write landed inside their folder - overwriting it with no backup, and revert could not see it afterwards. I hit this for real: a review agent's own probe folder on this machine ended up holding our generated router. The migration now treats it as the clash it is, proven by the filesystem (our name resolves while nothing is spelled that way) rather than by folding case, which would wrongly claim a separate folder on Linux. UNRECOVERABLE REVERT. A restore that threw (a permission, a read-only parent) aborted after the plugin and shared skills were already gone and before the record was cleared, so every later `--revert` died on the same file. It now reports the backup, keeps going, and names where the kept backup is. `openspec update` ABORTED ON A BROKEN MACHINE INSTALL. An `~/.agents` someone made a file, or a symlinked skill folder, took down the project update too - which worked on `main`. The refresh is now advisory: it warns, names `openspec setup`, and the project is still updated. `openspec update` OUTSIDE A PROJECT exited 0 once a machine install existed, swallowing "No OpenSpec directory found". The exit code scripts read is back. DELETED THE USER'S FILES. `update` pruned every `references/*.md` a skill does not ship, but per-project skills ship no references, so a `references/` folder beside one is the user's - and `main` leaves it. Confirmed against a build of `main`: theirs survived there and was deleted here. Pruning now applies only to a skill that ships references, so the beta still drops a stale guide. WRONG INSTALL COMMAND. `@fission-ai/openspec@beta` is not unpublished as the guide claimed: it points at `1.6.0-beta.1` from July, so that command downgrades from 1.16.0 to a CLI with no `openspec setup`. The docs now install the default branch and say why. This also reverses my own earlier change, which pointed the router's "No CLI" hint at `@beta` on a reviewer's suggestion I did not check - that hint now names the working CLI. DOCS THAT CONTRADICTED THE CODE. Setup moves aside only skills OpenSpec wrote (they carry `generatedBy`), so it does not touch an `npx skills add` copy of the older names; two documents claimed it did, and `skills/README.md` contradicted itself a paragraph apart. The per-project skills do not carry the beta's shorter steps - they are byte-identical to the previous release - and one guide list named four of the five guides. A Windows-only CI failure is fixed too: my own test asserted a POSIX path where `tilde()` builds one with the platform separator. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Four more defects, each reproduced against the real `claude` CLI first. A setup that threw part way left no record. Writing the shared skills fails if something made `~/.agents` a file, and by then the plugin was written and registered - but the record is saved last, so `--revert` answered "nothing to revert" and the user had a registered plugin with no documented way to remove it. The record is now written from a `finally`, so it survives the throw, and it follows what is on disk rather than whether registration succeeded. Revert also falls back to the disk when the record is missing for any other reason, a config restored from a backup among them. That also fixed the dangling marketplace: `marketplace add` can succeed while `plugin install` fails, and the old record wrote `claudePlugin: false`, so revert skipped both the uninstall and the marketplace removal while still deleting the folder the marketplace pointed at. Revert now unregisters it, and treats "not found in installed plugins" as the goal rather than an error to show, so a partial registration reverts without a false alarm. A refresh never registered. `openspec update` passes `register: false`, so a user who installed Claude Code after `openspec setup` got the plugin files rewritten on every update, never registered, while the summary claimed the plugin was updated. A refresh now completes that registration once, and the summary names the plugin only when Claude Code will actually load it. `openspec init`'s machine-install offer moved this project's `/opsx` command files without saying so, and defaulted to yes. It now counts them from a dry run, says how many would move and that `--revert` restores them, and defaults to no when anything would. Verified end to end with the real CLI: setup registers and Claude lists the plugin, update refreshes it, revert leaves no OpenSpec file and no plugin - only Claude Code's own state and OpenSpec's ordinary config. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
`docs/commands.md` and `docs/customization.md` were rewritten to say `/opsx:archive` runs `openspec archive --json`, hands the merge to the CLI and asks before updating main specs. The `/opsx` surface is frozen by this PR, and the generated command still does the old thing: 0 occurrences of `openspec archive --json` or `archive --yes`, and an inline `mv`. The new prose describes `skills/openspec-beta/references/archive.md`. Both files, and `docs/supported-tools.md`'s claim that per-project skills ship a `references/` folder (they ship none - verified against a real `init`), go back to `main`. `docs/cli.md` keeps its new `openspec setup` section, with the sample run corrected to what the summary prints: "Moved 24 files out of the way, from:", machine paths with `~`, and the backup path plus the `--revert` line it omitted. It also no longer implies setup leaves `npx` copies of its own names alone - it moves those into its backup - and says one skill per workflow "in your profile", since the default profile installs five of twelve. A docs-claims test pins the generated lines, so this sample cannot drift again without a test saying so. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The CLI's tasks guidance ends every change with a tracked `## N. Update the specs` group: "one task to sync this change's delta specs into the main specs and verify `openspec validate --specs` passes". Apply is the workflow that runs tasks, and it said nothing about how - zero mentions of sync anywhere in apply.md - while archive's guardrail says not to edit main specs by hand. An agent reaching that task had no procedure and a rule elsewhere telling it no, so it either hand-merged the way deltas.md warns against or left the task unchecked and called apply complete. Apply's step 4 now names that task as the merge, points at the sync steps, and says what archive reports afterwards (no spec update, zero totals, because the specs are already current) so the summary is not read as nothing happening. Two things this did NOT do, both on second thought: The pointer is injected by the router's REWRITES, not written into the template. Only the router ships `sync.md`; the same template also deploys standalone, and `skill-generation`'s "ships the references every deployed skill points to" test caught the dangling pointer. Verified both ways: the beta's apply.md names `references/sync.md`, the per-project apply skill names it zero times. I also qualified archive's and bulk-archive's "Do not edit main specs ... by hand" guardrail, and reverted that. Five tests pin the phrase for #1827 and #1393 - each archive is one atomic `openspec archive` call, no hand `mv`, no hand merge - and loosening it to buy consistency with one conflict-path line in bulk-archive would trade a real invariant for a wording nit. The router's table said explore "(writes nothing)", while explore.md says it may create change artifacts once the user confirms, and routes a "capture this as a change" request straight to propose. An agent reading only the table refuses that request; one reading explore.md writes files the table promised it would not. The row now says it writes only what you OK. Onboarding showed a folder tree with proposal.md, design.md, specs/ and tasks.md as "empty" right after `openspec new change`. That command creates `.openspec.yaml` and nothing else - verified - so an agent either filled in files it thought existed or described a structure the user could not see. They are now labelled as not created yet. The same tutorial drew a box with `┌ │ └ ─` inside the block that teaches explore mode, whose own rule is plain ASCII only because other glyphs render at different widths and break alignment (#983). Redrawn with `+ - |`. Propose keyed its no-project handling off the literal code `no_openspec_root`. A user with a registered store gets `no_root_with_registered_stores` instead (src/core/root-selection.ts:475), so they fell through to "on any other error, stop and report it" and never got the ask-whether-to-init handling. It now keys off `root` being null, which is what SKILL.md already does and what covers both codes. I could not register a store non-interactively to reproduce the store path end to end; the code's existence is the evidence. Onboarding's two "commands you have installed" tables listed eight commands and omitted update, bulk-archive and onboard, all of which ship. They use the same profile-aware helper as the others, so a row drops out when its workflow is not installed. SKILL.md was 5 bytes over budget after the explore row, so the wording is tighter rather than the budget looser. Two tests pinned propose's old code name; they now pin the null-root wording and the second code. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
….path
Onboarding archived with a bare `openspec archive "<name>" --yes`, on the
user's real codebase, on their first run. `archive.md` does the opposite for
good reason: run it without `--yes` first, because the CLI then moves nothing
that needs confirmation, read what it reports, and ask before updating the
main specs. The tutorial skipped all of that, so the one place a user is
learning the workflow taught them the unsafe shape of it. It now previews,
says what the CLI reported, and asks before the `--yes` run.
SKILL.md told agents "Its `root` is the OpenSpec folder". `root` is an object:
`{"path": "...", "source": "nearest"}`. An agent using it as a path gets
`[object Object]`; propose.md already says `root.path`. Fixed to match.
That cost 5 bytes and SKILL.md had 3, so the explore row says "(writes only if
you OK)" rather than a longer phrasing - the budget stays where it is.

…finishes The "What to say" table listed `/openspec-beta-explore` twenty lines after the install table correctly told Claude Code users to type `/openspec-beta:propose` - the plugin namespaces its skills, so the table's spelling is not the one they have. One clause above the table now says so. The removal command for an earlier `npx skills add` listed the 12 workflow names but not the four maintainer skills that install also delivered, so a user who ran it was left with `release-openspec` and the three docs skills and no instruction covering them. Ran the documented command verbatim against a real past-style install from `main`: 16 skills installed, 16 removed, none left. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The numbers say the beta plans better; a reader should be able to see it. This prints one scenario's artifacts from both result sets next to each other, with the final message each run gave the user. It picks the candidate's median rep rather than its widest gap, and prints every rep's count of cited requirement and decision IDs above the excerpt, so the pair reads as typical instead of chosen. On express's `Retry-After` request that count is 0 in all ten of today's runs and non-zero in seven of the beta's, and the median beta task cites `[D1](./design.md#d1)`-`[D5]` and "one test per scenario RA-1.1 to RA-5.2" where today's says "validation per design.md" and "every scenario in the spec". A machine where an earlier `npx skills add` installed openspec-propose and the rest got the beta set beside them, so the agent loaded two OpenSpec skill sets, and `openspec setup` (and its dry run) said nothing. Those copies carry no `generatedBy`, so nothing proves they are ours to move and setup still leaves them in place; it now lists them and prints the exact `npx skills remove -g -y <names>` command for the ones it found. …gree The beta reached past its own skills in two places that every OpenSpec user would feel, and those go back to what main does: - The default schema (`schemas/spec-driven`) gained an "Update the specs" last task group, new spec rules and a second scenario stub. Every user reads it through `openspec instructions`, today's frozen skills included, and the task group moved the spec merge from archive into apply, which #1968 is still exploring. The schema, its template and the docs-lab copy are main's again; the spec rules the beta needs now live in its own guides (specs.md, decisions.md). - Interactive `openspec init` offered the machine install as the recommended default whenever it saw an agent. `init.ts` is main's again: the beta comes only from `openspec setup` or `npx skills add`. Main's skill parity test, which guards today's per-project skills byte for byte, had been pointed at the beta templates. It is main's again and passes unchanged; the beta keeps its own copy under `test/core/templates/beta/` with `pnpm regen:beta-parity-hashes`. Skill text fixes: the router auto-selects the only active change like every workflow does; writing-an-artifact keeps the Principles (stable IDs) where the schema's instruction is silent; ff states its scope and raises costly decisions like propose; update drops an undefined "Start Fresh" heuristic; sync treats an ADDED block that already exists as MODIFIED, so it cannot delete what the block leaves out; onboarding's tasks example cites requirement IDs; skills/README installs with -g to match its removal commands. …write A continue run appended a priority clause, with a second SHALL, onto the existing "Adding a todo" requirement: the exact growth specs.md warns against. Propose and ff carry that rule in their write step; continue reached specs.md only through "any guide the Principles point to", and update named deltas.md but never specs.md. Both now name specs.md directly, with the one-line reason. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…oard The first 53 scenarios gave verify, update and ff one each, and bulk-archive, new and onboard none. Eight more: bulk-archive with a same-capability conflict and with an unfinished change, verify on a correct change, update reconciling a design that contradicts its spec, ff on a breaking request, new, onboarding's first turn, and the whole onboarding cycle. The whole cycle is a conversation, so a scenario can now list `followUps`: each resumes the first turn's session, and the harness then deletes that session's transcript and nothing else. Cost and tokens sum across turns. Also maps the onboard skill, which the harness could not start, and documents all 61 scenarios. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

…t is The beta came with CLI changes of its own: an `openspec setup` command (machine install, Claude Code plugin, backups and `--revert`), a `machineSetup` record in the global config, an `openspec update` step that refreshed that install, a `project_context` field on `openspec context --json`, and a refactor of skill-generation.ts that `init` and `update` run. All of it is main's again. The beta now installs with `npx skills add Fission-AI/OpenSpec -g -y` and comes off with one `npx skills remove` command. The router carries that command in references/install.md, naming exactly the skills that were installed (a wildcard removes only the router), so an agent can run it when asked. Nothing is moved or backed up, so there is nothing to restore. What used to need the CLI now uses what the released CLI already does: explore and propose read project context from the root's config.yaml, the way today's skills do. A test fails if any beta text names `project_context`. The beta's own code is new files only: beta-skill-generation.ts, the router and guides, and beta template types that extend the core ones. Every existing file under src/ is byte-identical to main, and against a build of main every help text, completion script and JSON output the skills read is identical, and `init --tools all` writes the same 472 files. The CI job now opts in and out with the real skills CLI on every OS, using the removal command from install.md. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The judge read the pristine fixture, not the fixture with the scenario's `setup` applied, so for update-ripple it was never shown the `exportJson()` and `todo-export` spec that setup seeds: 8 of 10 verdicts said both plans had invented them, and the comparison turned on who hedged better about code the judge could not see. It now applies `setup` to a temp copy and shows that source plus any seeded specs. update-ripple goes from 2-10 against the beta to 5-5. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ted ones Blind spec judging on insyra's `ins-iqr` went 1-4 against the beta, with its requirements missing the failure cases today's kept. The shared write step now asks for the main case plus a scenario for each way the behavior can fail, and, for behavior the code already has, for how it fails today rather than new checks it was never asked to add. That scenario's spec verdicts go to 3-5. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Both were added for `ins-iqr`, where blind spec judging favours today's skills, and neither earned its place: - The failure-scenario line repeated `references/specs.md` almost word for word in the write step, and the verdicts moved 1-4 to 2-7, which is no movement. - "No command, flag or endpoint the request did not name" was wrong. insyra's own `datalist-quantile` spec carries "### Requirement: The CLI prints a quantile", so the beta adding an IQR CLI requirement follows the capability it is extending; 18 of insyra's 204 specs document a CLI that way. The rule would have taught the agent to ignore a project's conventions, and it changed nothing anyway (a CLI requirement in 6 of 9 runs before, 5 of 10 after). `ins-iqr` stays a loss, reported as one: the judge prefers specs scoped to the literal request, and the beta extends the capability the way the project already documents it. With #2198, `openspec update` gives a project no per-project OpenSpec skills while the beta is installed and writes them back once it is removed. So opting in is `npx skills add Fission-AI/OpenSpec -g -y && openspec update`, and opting out is the one `npx skills remove` command followed by `openspec update`; `references/install.md`, docs/skills-beta.md and skills/README.md now say so. On a CLI without #2198, `openspec update` only refreshes the project, so the added step is harmless. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
It is a local tool's folder, already excluded locally, and no part of OpenSpec. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…2198 docs-lab is the docs site's source, and the beta had no page there. The new Customize > Beta skills page covers opting in and out in one line each (`npx skills add ... && openspec update`, and the one `npx skills remove` command followed by `openspec update`), what happens to today's skills while the beta is installed (per project, MiniMax Code machine-wide, a tool that cannot see the beta left alone), and how the skills fit together. docs/skills-beta.md and skills/README.md say the same, including that `openspec update` prints the removal command for old skills an earlier `npx skills add` left. A run that left the change valid but the task unchecked counted as a pass. Now a valid change must also have its one task done. Status: Ready for review. Merge after #1979, then #2198. Nothing in the
openspecCLI changes; nothing changes for an existing project until someone installs the skills. Why
openspec initcopies 12 long skills into every project, and each one repeats the same rules, so people find them hard to read and agents skim them.An audit of 55 real proposal-writing sessions found agents read the project's existing specs before drafting only 44% of the time. When they did read, 23 of 24 proposals were visibly better for it. The audit's recommendation was to build an explicit "look at the specs first" step into the proposal workflow. That is what these skills do.
What it does
openspec-betaskill explains OpenSpec: eight principles and five one-page guides. A short skill per task points into it.[AUTH-3]) and decisions are short### D1headings that tasks cite (Stable IDs for requirements, scenarios and decisions #2167; the CLI side is feat(specs): stable IDs so renaming a requirement no longer breaks links or archive #1979).Install and remove
The skills CLI removes by install source, so that one name takes all 12 beta skills and any copies of the earlier skills an older
npx skills addleft. The command is in the skills' ownreferences/install.md, so you can also just ask your agent to "remove OpenSpec beta". With #2198,openspec updateis what keeps one skill set: it removes the project's per-project OpenSpec skills while the beta is installed, and writes them back byte for byte once it is gone. Nothing is backed up or registered. Documented in docs-lab, the docs site's source, as Customize › Beta skills, and indocs/skills-beta.md.This PR changes no CLI code

The 43-scenario suite and both real repos were run with main's unmodified CLI driving and grading, so only the skills differ. The beta scores 211/215 there and 211/215 on this branch's build, which is what the table above would predict: the CLI is the same either way.
