knowledge: add PyTorch and TorchNPU skills without process artifacts - #312
Conversation
Add two source-grounded operating graphs with eight child procedures each, retained source provenance and notices, and focused reader and packaging coverage. Keep construction inventories and process reports in their immutable historical delivery instead of the maintained source tree. The reviewer did not rerun the broader focused suite, wheel installation or device tests. Those checks are separately attributed; historical native/accelerator limitations remain unchanged. Parent transcribed the independent result. |
Refs #309
Reintroduces the PyTorch and TorchNPU operating skills after the owner-requested revert #311, as one signed-off commit based on
977289d2.The replacement contains 206 files, +9,352 / −277 lines, compared with the original 366 files, +229,535 / −277: approximately 96% fewer additions. It omits all 160 construction-inventory and process-report files. Historical evidence remains linked at the immutable original delivery instead of being copied into the maintained tree.

Validation so far: all 681 generator input paths and raw-byte hashes exactly match the published source revision
8115da15b9ef34978de500b08aa9f14ea790c35b, so the existing generated catalog remains accurate. Full-tree Ruff and whitespace checks (withcore.whitespace=cr-at-eolfor byte-preserved upstream notices) passed.Final validation at
e3247382860bae094d7ca81e164ba2d28bd3e84b:An initial local run recorded 121 passed / 1 failed while it overlapped the parent's rebase checkout; the failure observed a transiently absent skill root. The stable reruns required no code fix. That interrupted-content run is retained as a test-coordination failure, not counted as passing evidence.
The historical source/usability evidence applies to unchanged runtime bytes; this repackaging does not rerun or upgrade it. CUDA/NPU/HCCL and pinned-source builds remain unverified; Windows Gloo failures remain recorded historically. Native execution is not claimed.
