fix(agent-sessions): centre the transcript, open a tool call from anywhere on its header - #959
Conversation
The transcript column pinned to the left edge of the content area: the clock gutter and the 900px prose column sat flush left, so a wide window was all empty space to their right. Cap the list at the width a typical row actually wants and centre it.
📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe transcript now aggregates usage at turn level, displays token and cost totals in turn headers, centers content within 1052px, and uses full-width tool-header toggles. Per-call usage and reasoning-token details are removed or suppressed. ChangesTranscript usage and presentation

The card's header was two targets: the left half selected the span, which in the transcript only drew a ring around a card the reader was already looking at, and a 12px chevron at the far right was the only thing that opened the payloads. The whole header now toggles the pair, and the selection highlight is gone.
… header Every model call in the transcript printed its own token split and cost, so a turn of twenty calls repeated the same two figures twenty times. The calls now print model, ttft and stop reason only, and the chapter header carries the turn's summed usage — counted by the same deepest-reporter rule the session header uses, so the turns still add up to the total above them. Timestamps are untouched.

Avoid a leading metadata separator.
A prompt row can contain captured input without model, TTFT, or finish metadata. With { usage: false }, callMetaLine can return an empty string, so the current render produces · {serviceName}.
Join only non-empty metadata parts.

Two fixes to the agent session transcript.
Centred column. The transcript pinned to the left edge of the content area — the 88px clock gutter and the 900px prose column sat flush left, leaving a wide window as empty space to their right. Caps the list at 1052px (gutter + two nesting lanes + the body's padding + the prose column — what a typical row actually wants) and centres it with
mx-auto;w-fullkeeps narrow viewports unchanged. The wrapper is the one outside the measured rows, so the virtualizer's offsets and scroll margin are untouched. One target per tool card. The header was two: the left half selected the span — which in the transcript only drew a ring around the card the reader was already looking at — and a 12px chevron at the far right was the only thing that opened the arguments and result. The whole header now toggles the payloads, and the selection highlight is dropped.
?span=still scrolls the transcript to the row it names; the other blocks' selection is unchanged.Verified against the fixture at
/lab/agent-session?view=transcript: centred at 1800px, unchanged at 900px, a click on the call id and a click on the tool name each open and close the pair, and a failed call'serror.typepill still sits right of the header.apps/websession-detail tests pass (81).Summary by CodeRabbit
