Please answer the following questions before submitting your issue. Thanks!

  1. What is the URL/path of the document related to this issue?

  2. How would you like to improve it?

In the Supported data types section of both documents, the last four rows of the table have the columns reversed. The TiDB/MySQL types are in the Parquet Primitive Type column, and the Parquet type INT32 is in the Types in TiDB or MySQL column:

    | SMALLINT | N/A | INT32 |
    | SMALLINT UNSIGNED | N/A | INT32 |
    | TINYINT | N/A | INT32 |
    | TINYINT UNSIGNED | N/A | INT32 |

INT32 is not a TiDB or MySQL data type. These rows should say that the Parquet INT32 primitive type (without a logical type) maps to SMALLINT, SMALLINT UNSIGNED, TINYINT, and TINYINT UNSIGNED. Because the table already has an INT32 | N/A row, these types can be merged into it:

    | INT32 | N/A | INT
MEDIUMINT
SMALLINT
SMALLINT UNSIGNED
TINYINT
TINYINT UNSIGNED
YEAR |
